| Successful at pet foraging or crafting |

We have successful at pet foraging or crafting, and have not found answers in forum searches or wiki, so we thought we should ask for help rather than give up on them.
First foraging quest: We never seem too bad able to finish this quest, and wind up trashing it. The early pets seem to always prefer Woodworking or Hunting. If we send it foraging for Woodworking items, it returns plenty of Last Chaos Gold, but never Pinewood.
If we send it Hunting, it returns Donkey Meat, but never Donkey Skin. It seems like the first quest requirements do not match the available items. We usually wind up trashing this quest, and goes back to using the pet to assist in fighting. What are we missing? How do we complete this quest?
Most of the help text and search results for pet bag actually refer to the Pet Roster rather than the Pet Bag. We are referring to what you see when you open your Bag and click on the Pet tab. The help text for this clearly states that anything the pet forages will be put into this bag and not you¡¯re Common Bag unless the Pet Bag is full.
